A manhunt is under way after a father disappeared with his toddler and baby.
Staffordshire Police said they are concerned for the welfare of two children who were taken by their father from a hotel in Hanley, Stoke on Trent.
Saleem Tahir, 40, is understood to have grabbed Na'llah Khan, aged two, and her brother Sulailman, 10 months and fled.
Tahir was seen with the children in the Selly Oak area of Birmingham at 8pm on Friday night, but other than that have remained at large.
Police issued an urgent appeal asking for anyone who has seen Mr Tahir or the children to get in touch.
A spokesman for Staffordshire police said: "Have you seen these two children? Please call Staffordshire Police on 101."
